Client: Client is a leading energy company Project Background: Client wanted an Enterprise Integration solution to integrate various Trade, Risk, Scheduling, Logistics, Credit, Fas133 and other surrounding systems. The client called in Primetech to help develop such a system. Primetech Role: Utilization of PrimeComponent SM framework for cost-effective system design, design and implementation Business process and functional requirements definition Design and development of the system Implementation and testing Quality assurance Post implementation support Project Details: - Solution called DEIA – Data Exchange Integration App. - Development of a Java based integration built around OpenLink Financials Endur(their risk management system), WebLogic, JMS and TIBCO RV - The DEIA framework allows Deal and Reference data to be exchanged across various systems in XML format - The OpenLink ORIEN server publishes the deal data and the framework Message Router delivers to registered Receiver Adapters developed for different client IT systems.A centralized Logging, Monitoring and Administrative mechanism are the additional features of the framework The basic architecture can be described as a series of component layers. The layers are: - Source applications layer – actions taken in this layer initiate message flow through the architecture - Adapter layer – stand-alone programs that convert disparate messages such as TIBCO or database queues into standard events handled in the architecture - Architecture Infrastructure layer – custom architecture code providing standard services in the WebLogic environment leveraging WebLogic features and providing API’s for external systems such as CCS/Vitria - Business API layer – custom application code to enforce -&business rules and transform standard messages into formats required by destination systems - Destination applications layer – either third party (Altra GMS) or custom application code used to complete message flow into the destination system Client Benefits: - Seamlessly Integrated solution of DEIA designed and developed as per their needs - Automation of a manual process - Significant reduction in time, errors and effort - Savings in design and development time.
